AN ELEGANT GEORGETOWN WATERFRONT WINTER WEDDING | SEQUOIA RESTAURANT | WASHINGTON D.C.
I was so excited to start my January off with this beautiful Georgetown waterfront winter wedding! Tara and Gregg put together (with the help of the fantastic, Kaitlin, of Cheers Darling Events) a beautifully, intimate wedding filled with family and friends at Sequoia. The girls got ready at The Graham and then we met Gregg on the waterfront for the first look! The light was perfect and there was hardly anyone around which made it the perfect moment! Tara and Gregg’s dog, Howie, came for portraits and was a PERFECTLY well-behaved dog… I was shocked at how well he listened and even looked at the camera! We wandered inside at dusk and the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and light hor d’oeuvres before sitting down to watch Tara and Gregg exchange their vows. Dinner was delicious, if I do say so myself, and as soon as dinner was over the guests filled the dance floor. The kids were tearin’ it UP! Just you wait! I was honored to capture this beautiful day for Tara and Gregg; congratulations you two!!
These blooms were to die for! Rachel from Floral & Bloom Designs rocks!I told Gregg that he had to stand over there and ponder life while staring at the buildings across the river. (Waiting for his bride!!)
How cute is this!!!
These two totally braved the cold but it was so worth it!HOWIE!!!How cute is this dog right now?Oh, Tara! You’re stunning!Lookin’ good, Gregg!Favorite! The bridge, the light, the flags, and a bride & groom in love!I was totally in love with these centerpieces!I thought this was SUPER adorable! One of the little girls brought Tara a picture of Tara and Gregg and herself. (SO CUTE!)But like seriously, these flowers are my jam. The kids at this wedding had me laughing all night…How totally cool are those trees all lit up behind them!?hahahahahahaha.
“Excuse me, lemme get one of your cokes”A thank you from the bride & groom!
Seriously! hahaHe was copying the note that his big brother had just written, word for word, and focusing really hard.Everyone loved when “Don’t Stop Believing” came on, especially Gregg.Tara with her father-in-law and Dad!Congratulations Tara & Gregg! Thank you for letting me capture your beautiful wedding!!
