Sometimes spontaneous plans are the most fun! A few weeks ago my mom and I were driving down to Richmond, me for my wedding at the Quirk Hotel (see here!) and my mom to see her mom. As we’re driving, my mom texts my cousin and Aunt to see “if by chance” they were free on a Friday afternoon for a quick little visit! Next thing we know, “What are you doing later?” turned into a gorgeous senior session at University of Richmond! Darden and I had been talking about her senior session in the Fall but every time we tried to plan something – our plans fell through or it decided to rain. Lucky for us, it was the most beautiful weather that Friday afternoon! My mom and I got to my Aunt’s house and helped Darden figure out what outfits to wear! She’s so stylish! Gathered up her shoes, jewelry, outfit changes… and we were off!
Although my cousin, Darden, is not attending University of Richmond in the Fall… she’s spent time on the gorgeous campus because her mom, my aunt, attended! When I asked Darden where she wanted her senior photos taken — she thought for a minute and said she loved the architecture at University of Richmond. Hold up – what 18 year old thinks about architecture!? I’m SO glad she chose it! I loved wandering and having my Aunt tell stories down memory lane as the four of us (me, Darden, my Aunt, and mom) walked by her old dorms and classrooms. You should have heard me, I was “OMG-ing” around every corner because I couldn’t get over how gorgeous campus was!!
Enjoy my favorites from Darden’s session at University of Richmond and make sure to stick around for the bloopers at the end — couldn’t help myself! Ha! Congratulations Darden! I can’t wait to see you grow the next four years at University of Tennessee!
